Bali Yatra experience a journey into Odisha’s greatness

“Baliyatra” is organized in Odisha.Bali Yatra 2018 is from 23rd November and will conclude on 2nd December,It is Largest trade fair in Odisha with more than 1500 stalls and shops from 30 districts are opened.

On the first full moon night of November, men and women of cuttack one of a district of odisha,assemble near the Mahanadi river and pray to the Gods to keep the sailors safe and wish them a successful voyage.The government of Orissa organizes numerous tours and packages during the festival for tourists to have a complete look and feel of the state culture and richness.

Odisha as a state is famous for its culture and vibrancy, which illuminates during this festival.On the Festival of Bali Yatra, a grand fair is organized that displays a great variety of goods and accessories for buying and selling.

Apart from the rituals and fair there are number of arrangements by the government like boating for the visitors which has slowly emerged as a great temptation.

What to do : In this festival lakhs of People come at the fair ground for buying and selling varieties of goods.
People also enjoy boating with their family members and friends in the full moonlit night.

This huge market is ready with goods, commodities and appliances signifying traditional crafts to modern appliances as open market for all peoples.

Cuttack Baliyatra is the best opportunity for traders and artisans to showcase their products. The administration has kept the price of the stalls unchanged this year. This year too, we will charge Rs 22 per square feet from the traders interested in setting up stalls at the fair.

Highlights of the Festival:

Over than 1500 stalls, comprising modern technology, household crafts, and traditional items, are put up on display across the lower and upper region of Bali Jatra grounds.Being one of the biggest festivals in Odisha, Bali Jatra receives nearly 3 lakhs of tourists every year.
