No Health Reports Required to Enter Puri Jagannath Temple – Shri Jagannath Temple Administration
At last, the much-awaited moment has come when you can visit Shri Jagannath temple without having to show to any covid negative reports. The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) said on Wednesday that from Thursday onwards devotees can enter the temple premises without having to show covid-19 negative reports.
Adequate arrangements have also been made in Puri for the pilgrims. This way people will be able to have hassle-free Darshan of the trinity. Arrangements have been made to ensure that a total of 30,000 devotees can have Darshan in a day, all arrangements have been made accordingly, like provision for sanitiser & drinking water etc. Facilities have also been made for smooth entry of devotees as the temperatures are increasing. Drinking water will be available 24 hours of the day, on both sides of the road in the Badadanda area.
The temple premises would be closed on Sunday for sanitization. Timings for Darsha have also been amended, residents of Puri can have Darshan from 6 am to 7 am, and for the general public gates would be open from 7 am onwards.
