Our environment is constantly changing. With a massive influx of natural disasters, warming and cooling periods, different types of weather patterns and much more, people need to be aware of what types of environmental problems our planet is facing.
Global warming has one of the facts about our current livelihoods; our planet is warming up day by day and we are part of the problem. However, this is not only one environmental problem that we are concern about.
Around the world peoples are facing different problems, Some of the problems are small and affects few of the ecosystem, but some others problems are drastically changing our Earth environment.
1.Air population explosion-
Air pollution is probably one of the most serious environmental problems confronting our civilization today. Most often, it is caused by human activities such as mining, construction, transportation, industrial work, agriculture, smelting, etc.
Smog hanging over cities is the most familiar and obvious form of air pollution. But there are different kinds of pollution—some visible, some invisible—that contribute to global warming. Generally, any substance that people introduce into the atmosphere that has damaging effects on living things and the environment is considered air pollution.
Air pollution has serious effects on the human health. simple symptoms like coughing and the irritation of the respiratory tract to acute conditions like asthma and chronic lung diseases.
2.Waste in everywhere-
Pollution of garbage increases in cities and towns where there is no proper system of garbage collection.Improper disposal mechanism is another cause of this type of pollution.
In the least developed countries mostly garbage is dumped in open or freely available places and to make its final disposal entire garbage is burnt and no one stops them because of unawareness.
Burning garbage not only adds land pollution after being fully burnt but it also becomes the source of air pollution by emitting harmful gases while burning. It is called one of the worst air polluting acts because it remains directly in the breathing zone of human beings.
Garbage pollution is the main cause of various bacterial diseases and gastro is one of them. Moreover, typhoid, malaria and various infectious diseases are also caused by it.
3. Industrial Growth-
With the coming of the Industrial Revolution, humans were able to advance further into the 21st century.
Technology developed rapidly, science became advanced and the manufacturing age came into view. With all of these came one more effect, industrial pollution. Earlier, industries were small factories that produced smoke as the main pollutant.
However, since the number of factories were limited and worked only a certain number of hours a day, the levels of pollution did not grow significantly. But when these factories became full-scale industries and manufacturing units, the issue of industrial pollution started to take on more importance.
Due to Lack of Policies to Control Pollution, Unplanned Industrial Growth, Use of Outdated Technologies industrial pollution is increasing rapidly.
4.Destruction of forest-
Water cycle also affected by deforestation. Trees extract groundwater through their roots and release it into the atmosphere. … The dry soil leads to lower water intake for the trees to extract.Deforestation reduces soil cohesion so that erosion, flooding, and landslides.
Many wonderful species of plants and animals have been lost, and many others remain endangered. More than 80% of the world’s species remain in the Tropical Rainforest. It is estimated that about 50 to 100 species of animals are being lost each day as a result of the destruction of their habitats, and that is a tragedy.
Cool climates may get a lot hotter and hot places may get a lot cooler.
