NEW DELHI: India gets a loan agreement of $119 million with World Bank for to improve the quality of students’ equitable access to selected institutions in Odisha, an official statement said.
The financing agreement for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) loan equivalent to $119 million is for the Odisha Higher Education Programme for Excellence and Equity (OHEPEE) Project.
“The objective of the project is to improve the quality of students’ equitable access to selected institutions and enhance governance of the higher education system in Odisha,” the release said.
The closing date for the project is November 2022, the release added.
