Bhubaneswar, JNN. Tablighi Jamati became a headache for the whole country, now it has become a headache for Odisha as well. Due to lack of data on the number of people from the state who took part in the Tablighi Jamaat, it is difficult for the state government to trace them.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik himself has called upon the Jamaatis to come forward. The Chief Minister has fearlessly requested the people attending the religious gathering organized in Nizamuddin’s Tabligi to contact the government’s helpline number 104 without any shame. This information was said by Kovid-19 spokesperson of the state government Subrata Bagchi at a press conference held here on Saturday.
Dr. Bagchi said that hiding the facts about himself will harm his own family and society. Bagchi has said that the persons visiting Nizamuddin and who come in contact with them, contact the number 104 and take advantage of the government’s free medical service.
The government will bear the cost of his entire treatment. If everyone cooperates, it will be easy to compete with Corona. He said that so far 20 people have been found positive in the state. If 50 people have come in contact with one person, then there is a possibility of 1000 people being corona positive.
