Odisha Government Gives Green Signal to Marriage Processions – But, With a Limitation of Two Hundred People.
Odisha Government on Tuesday gave green signal to marriage processions with a ceiling of 200 persons. This is including bride, bride groom, friends, relatives, priest, members of band, sound and light system etc.
The marriage procession should strictly follow covid protocols, such as maintaining social distancing, wearing mask, and using hand sanitizer at the venue.
As far as funeral/last rites rituals are concerned, administration gave permission for a gathering of 100 people in one place and to a maximum of 50% of the hall capacity in closed spaces.
