Odisha’ Monoj Maharana created the new record by cramming 459 drinking straws into his mouth at once and held them for ten seconds.
The previous record was made by Simon Elmore, who had crammed 400 straws in his mouth at the Mark ‘n’ Simon Show in Germany.
The rules for this title state that the challenger is not allowed to use his hands to support the straws during the 10-second period. The challenger is only allowed to use elastic bands around a cluster of straws to hold them together.
Rishi had all his teeth removed so that he could cram more straws in his mouth.He had also tried to create record for stuffing most number of grapes into the mouth by stuffing 90 grapes at a time
